Privacy Policy

Webders (Webders Design Studio) builds websites and runs SEO, AEO and ads for local service businesses. We are based in Guwahati, Assam, India, and we work with clients in the United States, Australia, India and elsewhere.

Webders is responsible for the personal data described here. For anything about your data, email support@webdersdesignstudio.com. We answer within 30 days, usually much sooner.

When you send our contact form, our project form or our agency partner form, we collect what you type in: your name, business or agency name, email, phone, the services you are interested in, your budget and timeline, your current website, your town and trade, and any message. We also record that you ticked the privacy box.

Alongside the form we record a few details about the visit: the page you sent it from, its title, the page that referred you, your browser's user agent, and any campaign tags in the link (UTM parameters and Google or Meta click IDs). These tell us which page or ad brought the enquiry.

We use all of this only to reply to you, to prepare a quote or a preview of your website, and to understand which of our pages and ads bring enquiries. We do not sell it, rent it, or use it for anyone else's marketing.

The legal basis is your consent (the checkbox on the form) and, once you ask us for a quote, the steps needed before a contract with you.

Your enquiry is saved in our lead database (our CRM) and emailed to our team inbox seconds later, so a person reads it the same working day.

The pricing section shows the price in US dollars, Australian dollars or Indian rupees depending on the country you are visiting from. To work out the country, your browser sends a request to api.country.is (and, if that does not answer, to get.geojs.io). Like any request on the internet, that request carries your IP address, and the service answers with a two-letter country code.

We use the country code only to choose the currency, and it is kept in your browser for the current visit only (session storage). We do not save it, send it to our servers, or combine it with anything you type into a form. If the lookup fails, your device's time zone is used instead, and if that does not help either, prices show in US dollars.

This site does not set cookies and does not load any analytics, advertising or tracking scripts. Our fonts, images and videos are hosted on our own server, so loading a page does not contact Google Fonts or any other third party. The only outside request is the country lookup above.

Because there is no non-essential tracking, there is no cookie banner. If we ever add analytics or ad tracking, we will ask for your consent first and update this page.

Our web host keeps standard server logs (IP address, date and time, the page requested and the browser), used only for security and to keep the site running.

We use a small number of service providers. Each one only handles your data to provide its service to us:

• Supabase: hosts our lead database (the CRM) where enquiries are stored.
• Our business email provider: delivers the notification email for each enquiry to our team inbox.
• Our web hosting provider: serves this website and keeps its server logs.
• country.is and GeoJS: answer the country lookup described above.

We keep enquiries for up to 24 months after our last contact with you, so we can pick up where we left off. If you become a client, we keep what we need for the work and for our tax and accounting records for as long as the law requires. Server logs are kept only as long as our host's standard rotation. You can ask us to delete your enquiry at any time.

We are in India and our providers run servers in other countries, so your data may be processed outside the country you live in. We only use established providers that protect data in transit and at rest.

Wherever you live, you can ask us to:

• tell you what personal data we hold about you and give you a copy;
• correct anything that is wrong or out of date;
• delete your data;
• stop contacting you, or withdraw the consent you gave on the form, at any time;
• not sell or share your data (we never do).

India: under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can access, correct and erase your data, withdraw consent, and nominate someone to act for you. If we cannot resolve a complaint, you can go to the Data Protection Board of India.

European Union and United Kingdom: under the GDPR you also have the rights to restrict or object to processing and to data portability, and you can complain to your local data protection authority.

Australia: under the Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles you can access and correct your information, and complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) if we do not resolve your concern.

United States: state privacy laws such as California's (CCPA/CPRA) give you the right to know, delete and correct your data and to opt out of its sale or sharing. We do not sell or share personal data, and we will never treat you differently for using these rights.

Email support@webdersdesignstudio.com with the subject "Privacy request" and tell us what you would like. We may ask you to confirm your email or phone number so we only release data to you. There is no fee, and we reply within 30 days.

This site is for businesses. It is not aimed at children, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
